They entered the competition on 31 March 2022. The championship began with an initial theoretical test, assessing the forklift drivers' knowledge of the working environment, safety, regulations, etc.
At Viapost, around 650 CACES holders, including a hundred forklift operators, manoeuvre their machines every day. They load and unload lorries, weigh products and transport them to storage or production areas. And this year again, four of them have claimed the title of best forklift operator in France at the 4th edition of the forklift operator championship.
For Viapost, a logistics company with 40 of its own sites* and 49 integrated teams at its customers' sites, possession of the CACES as well as vigilance and good control of the equipment are among the essential qualities of a good forklift operator; a profession honoured by the Pôle d'Intelligence Logistique and the AFTRAL by organising a national inter-company championship.

A high-flying final
