Collections organised for 2 associations: Viaposte donors got involved

At the end of the year, Viaposte's teams are mobilising to help people in need. Two collection campaigns were organised at Viaposte's head office in Kremlin-Bicêtre for the Association l'Un est l'Autre and on the platforms in the north of France for the Association La Mie de Pain.

Charitable actions for the association La Mie de Pain

La Mie de Pain is an association fighting against precariousness. It implements appropriate solutions to welcome people in emergency situations and accompany them towards a sustainable social and professional reintegration.

Viaposte regularly works for this association:

> Food and hygiene collections
> Donations of honey jars from the production of the headquarters' rooftop hives, shoes and containers
> Ordering of catering services, within the framework of an internal event, carried out by people in rehabilitation.

Shoe collection

A new collection was carried out for the association La Mie de Pain. This time, it was the Hauts-de-France sites that got involved, on the initiative of Paul Causse, Quality and Process Manager.

The objective? To mobilise the teams for 2 weeks and collect as many safety shoes as possible that are no longer used in the context of logistical missions, in order to redistribute them to homeless people.

A total of 50 pairs of safety shoes were collected by Viaposte employees at 3 different sites:

> Lesquin Logistics Platform: 24 pairs collected
> 2 Integrated Logistics Teams from the Hauts-de-France sites: 26 pairs collected

To reward the commitment of the platform's teams, they were offered a breakfast.

The association l'Un Est l'Autre

This humanitarian association was created in 2003, with the aim of supporting people in precarious or excluded situations:

> By offering hot meals all year round: 127,000 meals cooked and distributed*.
> Combating food waste: 37 tonnes of unsold food collected and redistributed to families in difficulty in the Val-de-Marne and the 19ème arrondissement of Paris
> By promoting reintegration: 175 people/year carry out community service within the association.

Collection of food and hygiene products at Viaposte's head office

From the 12th to 15th December, a collection of food, hygiene and childcare products was organised among Viaposte's head office employees in favour of the association l'Un est l'Autre, whose head office is close to Viaposte's.

A communication campaign was carried out with the teams to give visibility to this action. The donors were numerous:

> 210 jars of honey (from HQ hives)

> 3 boxes containing foodstuffs (pasta, rice, chocolate...), hygiene products, baby products

> Books for child

Viaposte's commitment

Viaposte is involved with a number of associations, both through collections and in the context of supporting people in professional integration or reintegration. This is notably the case through operations with ARES, Log'ins, Kliff or as part of Duo Day.

Viaposte's "Commitment" value is reflected in the inclusion and solidarity actions carried out on its sites.
